A very rare 1937 Open Championship Players pin from Carnoustie and Henry Cotton was the winner.

This is a 1938 Open Championship Players pin and it was a Paper ticket. It’s in rough shape but it is truly amazing it’s still here. The Wiki about the 1938 Open says this “The 1938 Open Championship was the 73rd Open Championship, held 6–8 July at Royal St George’s Golf Club in Sandwich, England. In terrible weather conditions that caused scores to soar, Reg Whitcombe prevailed by two strokes” With the heavy rains and wind I’m happy it made it and it might be the only example still left. I’m proud to say this Ticket was on display in the clubhouse at Royal St. George during the 2021 Open Championship.
