Alister Mackenzie Co-designed Augusta National with Bobby Jones. He passed away in 1934 and his autograph is very rare. He has a famous book called Golf Architecture. A few copies are signed but for some reason, he usually signed them “With Compliments from the Author” and never signed it using his name. I am lucky to own a copy of his famous book where he wrote his name and “With Compliments from the Author” This book is very small and could fit in your pocket.
This book was signed in 1927 at Moor Allerton Golf Club and it was originally founded in 1923 and Alister Mackenzie laid out the original 18 holes.
