Ben Hogan was a very serious person during his playing days and didn’t sign many autographs. I have a friend who met him at the masters in the 1960s and he asked him for an autograph he said he looked right at him and said NO. Like Tiger Woods, he was very focused on what he needed to do. Signing autographs was a distraction. Later in life, he signed a good amount of autographs. His autograph on certain premium items can bring a strong price.
